Eligibility

Program Requirements

student in lab The SOARS program is open to students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics. Additional program requirements include:

Must be a member of an underrepresented racial ethnic group in STEM
Enrolled Full-time as a graduate student
Maintain a 3.0 GPA minimum
Work 20 hours per week as a research assistant
