How do I join Detachment 790 of AFROTC?
There are two possibilities for admission into Det. 790. Choose the option that fits you:
I'm a TSU Student:Tennessee State University students do not have to apply specifically to ROTC, instead they sign up during registration like a normal class. I'm NOT a TSU Student:You DO NOT have to be a student at Tennessee State University to become a cadet at Detachment 790. Many of our cadets come from surrounding schools in the area. The following are the classes that will need to be added for admission into the program (click above link for more information): AERO 1012 (lecture) Please download and read the Prospective Cadet Letter from the desk of the Unit Admissions Officer (UAO). The following schools are Det. 790 cross-town schools:
Aquinas College (AC)
If you are a student or are going to be a student at one of the above schools and are interested in joining Det. 790, please do the following: SUBMIT DOCUMENTS Mail these documents (not faxed) to Det. 790 before the deadline in order to enter the program:

DEADLINES The deadline for receiving these documents is:
APPLICATION Cross-town student applications should be mailed to: AFROTC Det. 790/UAO After the needed documents have been received (about 2-weeks after mailed in), students will be able to register for AFROTC classes through the TSU web site.
