Transportation Engineering, Planning and Safety Lab

Welcome to Transportation Engineering, Planning and Safety Lab (TEPS-Lab) at Tennessee State University (TSU). Apart from interdisciplinary faculties involved, the TEPS-Lab comprises both graduate and undergraduate students conducting research in various topics related to Transportation. The TEPS-Lab provide research and educational programs to local, state and national agencies in the areas of traffic analysisand simulations, highway safety analysis and modeling, public/transit, bicycle and pedestrian, incident management and application of statistics in transportation.

Other research areas at TEPS-Lab include traffic congestion mitigations, transportation sustainability, growth management, traffic demand forecasting and modeling, transportation planning, geometric design, intelligence transportation system (ITS) and environmental impacts analysis.
