Homecoming Parade Participation

General Instructions and Information

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Homecoming parade.   To make your parade experience a seamless activity, please review the instructions below:

  •  Submit a drawing of your entry design with measurements

  • All entries must include the Homecoming Parade Theme as noted on the Parade Application found at the link below.

  • All entries must be pre-approved by the Homecoming Committee before payment can be made.  Mr. Steven McCrary from The Office of Disability Services will notify participants of their approval by September 26, 2017. 

  • You must submit a physically signed Parade Application and an entry design to be considered for the Tennessee State University Homecoming parade.  Only ONE CAR or ONE FLOAT per organization will be allowed to participate.  Car and Float entries must be 75% decorated and must include the Homecoming theme. 

  • Do not send the application fee until you entry has been approved.  Again, you will be notified of your entry's status.

  • Send all entry designs and applications to:   Tennessee State University, Office of Disability Services, 3500 John A. Merritt Blvd, Nashville, Tennessee 37209 or email parade@tnstate.edu.
