Eligibility Requirements

Scholars and Fellows Program

The eligibility requirements for admission into the USDA NRCS Scholars and Fellows Program are as follows:

Student majoring in agriculture/science or engineering—related to USDA/NRCS
US Citizen or permanent resident
Any classification
GPA:
- Incoming students (freshmen): 3.0 GPA/ACT score of 22
- Returning students: 2.8 GPA

Be enrolled for 15 credit hours during the period the scholarship is received
Must apply for federal financial aid during period of participation
