SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

TEACHING: Over 20 semesters teaching as an adjunct professor, instructor, and graduate teaching assistant prior to employment as an Assistant Professor at Tennessee State University.

RESEARCH: Over 10 years experience in a variety of research positions, including traditional experimental research; policy research and analysis; and applied research (program evaluation; customer demographic analysis; test development; as well as organizing and developing institutional research programs).

CLINICAL: over 10 years experience in college, university, and community settings including individual, couples, group, and organizational intervention. Client presenting issues covered full spectrum of concerns, including developmental, work/organizational functioning, interpersonal, and psychological dysfunction.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION: Six years experience providing clinical supervision to graduate-level trainees and pre-doctoral interns.

 

SUMMARY OF SERVICE

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY: Consistent service to professional associations and the community includes conference and event planning, public relations coordination, and work on college-community alliances.

UNIVERSITY: Ten years experience on a variety of university committees, including institution-wide assessment, accreditation, strategic planning, minority recruitment and retention, freshmen orientation; and programs such as GEAR-UP and CLUSTER (National Alliance Business).
