Jian An joined the Office of Business & Economic Research as a graduate assistant in August 2006. He got his bachelor degree from Tianjin Polytechnic University with concentration on International Economics & Trade.

 The project he is involved in is to evaluate the economic impact of TSU Small Business Development Center (SBDC), which is projected to be a two-year study.
