The International Students Organization welcomes new and returning students Back to school. The International Student Organization at Tennessee State University was established to bring International Students as well as Internationally "minded" students together and create a global village in the university. The International students here at Tennessee State University represent 52 different countries in which the largest population of students are from India, Bahamas, Middle East, Nigeria and Asia. The International student population consists of both Graduate and Undergraduate Students. Meetings are held every week in the Floyd Payne Campus Center, and activities are held from time to time. Our Spring Semester event, THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT WEEK, which would be held every Semester, draws crowd from throughout the university and residents from the Nashville Community. Various cultural organizations representing different nations at TSU participate and compete in this colorful event. Other than that, we also have occasional parties, mixers, pot-lucks, picnics and seminars. For information about our events, please go to the Calendar |
