The Reading Center offers two courses of instruction designed to prepare students for the college level course. Developmental Reading is designed as an experience in reception and processing of ideas in the evaluation, application, and retention of textual materials and is designed to provide strategies, applying high-level reasoning skills to identify, formulate, and solve problems. Learning Strategies is designed to provide an integrated system of instruction, application, assessment, and major college survival skills essential for success. Modules on general study skills and specific techniques for studying Reading, English, and Math have been included. | |

DSPR labs are created in Desire2Learn. Supplemental materials for DSPR and DSPS may also be presented in Desire2Learn format.
