Departments
The College of Education offers degree programs and instruction through four academic departments: Educational Administration (EDAD), Human Performance and Sport Sciences (HPSS), Psychology (PSYC.), and Teaching and Learning (TandL). The College seeks to maintain excellance in all programs and this is reflected in the acclaim the various programs have received. The teacher education program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation (NCATE). The Ph.D. program in Counseling Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The Educational Administration program is approved by the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA).
