The Law School Minority Report

Provides a wealth of information for minority law school applicants, featuring a report based on a survey of approximately 3,000 current students nation-wide. The Report not only offers applicants a unique, first-hand view of what law schools are really like as experienced by students, but it also contains the names and contact information of hundreds of minority students across the country who agreed to answer questions and offer advice to applicants.

 


Student Organizations

International Affairs Society

The International Affairs Society is a remarkably active organization established to promote a better understanding of the various diplomatic, institutional, and cultural interrelationships between nations of the world. The TSU chapter of the IAS presents students with an exceptional hands-on experience in the art of diplomacy and negotiation, particularly through its renowned participation in the annual National Model United Nations Competition in New York. Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society)

Phi Alpha Theta is an honor society established to promote the study of history. It encourages research, writing for publication, excellence in teaching, and social and intellectual exchange. The RHO-KAPPA chapter at TSU represents one of 839 chapters nationwide. Founded in 1921, Phi Alpha Theta is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society)

Pi Sigma Alpha is an honor society established to promote the study of government and politics. It supports active scholarship and teaching toward understanding issues of public concern. The RHO-Upsilon chapter at TSU is one of more than 460 chapters nationwide. The organization was founded in 1920, and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL)

The Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature was established, more than 35 years ago, by students who wanted to have a voice in government. The TSU chapter participates annually in a mock legislative session on Capitol Hill in Nashville, Tennessee. Campus leaders from across the state introduce, debate, and vote on bills that could impact the future of the state and the nation.
