Safety and Lab Space Utilization Committee

Committee Functions

	Work with scientists, IAgER administration and university safety committees to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in the Institute’s research facilities.
	Emphasize proper storage, and disposal of research materials or equipment that may pose a risk to persons or the environment.
	Work with the administration of the Institute to ensure that space is utilized appropriately and efficiently.
	Ensure that the appearance of work areas projects the right image for the Institute.
	Monitor space for compliance with safety policy at the University.
	Recommend improvements for enhancing appearance and functionality of space.
