Corporate/Alumni/Internship Development |
TSU’s
approach to expanding university-corporate relations will consist of marketing,
matching, and managing mutually rewarding business-academia partnerships.
The
university is primarily interested in securing favorable opportunities for its
students: part-time work, experiential internships, and career employment. The
corporate community, on the other hand, has an abiding interest in hiring and
retaining qualified employees to meet its human resource demands.
The
TSU team - the administration, faculty and career center staff, strives for
student development. The corporate contribution to this ongoing effort could
involve the offering of scholarships, internships, part-time employment, and
professional mentorship to eligible students.
The
end result of the mutual cooperation would be for the graduate to be employed,
the business to succeed, and the university to benefit from its alumni in the
corporate world.
