The Office of Cooperative Education and the Office of Graduate & Professional Opportunities have merged with the Career Center to form the NEW Career Development Center.  The CDC provides comprehensive services and resources to Tennessee State University students, alumni, employers, and colleges and universities that are seeking excellent achievers to become a part of their organization, and prepares our students to access corporate and institutional clients.  The Career Development Center’s home page is available to assist you in your career planning and employment aspirations.

We are professionally staffed to serve you with state-of-the-art technology.  The staff will assist you in preparing your resume, designing and implementing your job search strategy, and other resources in the comprehensive Career Resources Library. Representatives from business, industry, government and education visit Tennessee State University during the fall and spring semesters to interview students for career employment.  We offer opportunities for part time and summer work, internships, and cooperative education positions for undergraduate and graduate students.  In addition, we provide information and activities to prepare students for graduate and professional school.
