| Dr. Lownes is the Associate Dean of the College of Business and
Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration. She
obtained her Ph.D. in Administration from Vanderbilt University (1981), MBA
with major of Finance from Vanderbilt University (1981), and BA from Fisk
University (1972). Dr. Lownes is the founder of The Interdenominational
Services Organization of America, the founder of Business Exchange for the
Entrepreneurially Minded Program, and also the founder of The Women's
Institute for Successful Entrepreneurship. Dr. Lownes' primary teaching
fields are Management and Entrepreneurship. |

the Financial Obstacles faced by these businesses.
