V. Admission Criteria and Faculty Committee on Field Studies.

The Department has nominated fifteen faculties from the College of Arts and Sciences, Allied Health, Office of Sponsored Research, Title III and Honors Program. The Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences is the Chair of the Committee. The faculty committee will define the principal goal and objective of the program such as application for admission, scholarship and other criteria pertinent to the program. As it is stated in the eligibility section, the committee will make the final decision with regards to admission to the program. However, students must be registered through Tennessee State University admissions office before they are accepted in the field studies program.
