Summer Research Program
Enhancing Your Skills & Exposure in STEM
The Tennessee Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (TLSAMP), supported by the National Science Foundation, is a partnership of six major institutions of higher learning in the state of Tennessee. Each partner institution is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies geared toward increasing undergraduate retention and graduation rates of its science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors.
As an alliance, TLSAMP partner institutions work closely together to plan and implement three alliance activities:
- Summer Undergraduate Bridge Program;
- Summer Undergraduate Research Program
- and Annual TLSAMP Research Symposium.
Each year, researchers at TLSAMP member institutions make available summer research training opportunities for STEM undergraduate majors enrolled at alliance institutions.
STEM majors are encouraged to browse the TLSAMP partner links below to learn more and apply for undergraduate summer research opportunities available at these institutions.
TLSAMP STEM students who apply to any of the posted opportunities are required contact the TLSAMP Coordinator Office at (615) 963-1398 or sharpe@coe.tsuniv.edu.
