COVID-19 UPDATE:

Due to the impact of COVID-19, we are adjusting our orientation program in accordance with the CDC and State of Tennessee guidelines, to ensure the safety of all families, university staff and faculty. We trust you are excited to get started, and we are even more thrilled to help you through this transition. Therefore, we are working around the clock to provide you with the best on-boarding experience possible. As an incoming Tiger, you will take part in a VIRTUAL on- boarding experience for SPRING 2021! You will have the opportunity to connect with peers, hear from campus partners, student leaders and more. Be sure to register below! See you soon on ZOOM!


 

All first-time, freshmen who are admitted to the university are required to attend Destination TSU. 

SPRING 2021 ADMITTED FRESHMEN     

* TSU waives SAT/ACT requirement in response to COVID-19 pandemic; Goes test optional for Fall 2020 admission.

Accuplacer Placement Test

First-time freshmen over age 21 without valid ACT/SAT scores (no more than three years old) must complete the ACCUPLACER placement test. Students who were over 21 when admitted to TSU should schedule an appointment with the Testing Center to take the ACCUPLACER placement test prior to attending Destination TSU.

Online Registration & Fees

Freshmen and parents/family members must complete the Destination TSU online registration and make payment of registration fees online by the registration deadline in order to save seats in Destination TSU. 

Prior to registering to attend a session, freshmen must:

     1.   be an admitted student to TSU for the Spring 2021 or Fall 2021 semester
     2.   submit all Immunization &  Health Records to Student Health Services

Failure to submit Immunization & Health Records prior to attending Destination TSU will prohibit students from completing course registration.  For more information about immunization requirements, contact Student Health Services at (615) 963-5291.

To complete the online registration, you will need your T number (student identification number) which is located on your acceptance letter or can be retrieved on myTSU.

In our efforts to provide support to families during the COVID -19 pandemic, we are waiving all New Student Orientation fees for Spring 2021.
