 Jan

  • Registration continues - Clear holds preventing registration and confirm your courses in myTSU
  • Spring semester starts - Read your syllabus and organize your deadlines to stay on track
  • Complete your FAFSA if you didn't do it in October

 Feb

  • Attend ASC events and connect with tutors
  • Meet with your advisor - schedule an appointment
  • Talk to instructors - schedule appointments and discuss coursework/assignments
  • Respond to early alert emails - it'll help you correct work before midterm exams and grades

 Mar

  • Midterm Exams
  • Attend ASC events and connect with tutors
  • Meet with your advisor 
  • Last day to withdraw - If you plan to withdraw from a course, you should speak with an advisor first and check with financial aid regarding aid requirements

 Apr

  • Early registration is open for Maymester, Summer, and Fall
  • First-time freshmen entering in the fall are block scheduled and will not be able to self-register for the summer or fall

 May

  • Registration continues for summer and fall
  • Check your grades in myTSU  - contact your advisor 1) if you make a D or F in any class, 2) if you need more alternative recommendations because the courses you want for summer or fall are full/closed, or 3) if your academic standing changes to probation or suspension
  • Maymester
  • Access Success Form and Zoom links are sent to first-time freshmen admitted in the fall

 Jun

  • Summer Session I
  • Attend Access Success (first-time freshmen advisement session) and stay informed

 Jul

 Aug

  • Double-check your fall schedule to make sure you don't need to make any adjustments.
  • Classes begin!
  • Read your syllabus and organize your deadlines to stay on track.

 Sep

  • Meet with your advisor to discuss spring registration and any changes to your plan of study including a change of major or adding a minor or concentration.
  • Attend Tiger Tutoring
  • Talk to instructors - schedule appointments and discuss coursework/assignments.
  • Respond to early alert emails - it'll help you correct work before midterm exams and grades.

 Oct

  • Mid-term Exams!
  • Meet with instructors to understand ways to correct or maintain midterm grades.
  • FAFSA applications open
  • Schedule an appointment with your advisor before spring registration opens to get the classes you want. 
  • Last day to withdraw - If you plan to withdraw from a course, you should speak with an advisor first and check with financial aid regarding aid requirements
  • Registration opens for the spring term.
  • Attend ASC events and connect with tutors

  • Fall Break

  • Registration continues for spring
  • Final exams
