Observation Protocol
The TN-TEAM observer observation process unfolds throughout the academic year, capturing a comprehensive view of team dynamics and instructional practices. Observations 1 and 2 focuses on Planning and the Environment. This observation is conducted twice to determine growth.
Observation 3 focuses on I nstruction. These observations often occur during regular school days, allowing observers to witness first-hand how teachers collaborate, plan lessons, and engage students in learning.
The Comprehensive Team Evaluation (post-bac student teachers and job-embedded) offers a summative assessment of the team's overall performance. This in-depth evaluation provides a holistic picture of the team's impact on student learning and professional growth.
By strategically timing these observations, TN-TEAM seeks to gain a comprehensive understanding of team practices, identify strengths and areas for growth, and ultimately support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
