TSU Television
TSU Television, the on-campus television station, is developed, produced and operated by the students of Tennessee State University, primarily in the Communications Department, a part of the College of Liberal Arts. TSU-TV is seen in the dorms and other buildings of Tennessee State University, located on the west side of Nashville, Tennessee. Programs are also on our YouTube Page, and our VOD system. TSU-TV is now produced from two separate television studios, one upstairs within the Center for Media Arts & Production complex, and a second larger one downstairs near the theater area.
Television instructional facilities are constantly being upgraded. The Performing Arts Center, home to the department, houses a modern television facility including two tv studios. While incorporating current essential capabilities, the complex houses technologically advanced equipment to support the television area. The department wants to make certain that students are introduced to the cutting edge technology in their classroom and experiential endeavors.
