The study of psychology focuses on human behavior and psychological functioning. Psychology helps to describe, explain, predict, and control behavior and mental process, scientific study of behavior and practical applications of this knowledge. Our objective is to provide undergraduate minors with courses of study and related experiences that provide solid foundations for advanced study.
There are many career options available for undergraduate psychology students. Not only does training at this level serve as an educational foundation beyond that of a bachelor’s degree. A minor in psychology also may lead to a number of rewarding professions in the fields of psychology, counseling and guidance, or to study in the health professions, social work, personnel services, and many more rewarding positions working with people.
Psychology Minor: Students can earn a minor is psychology by earning credit in General Psychology 2010, plus 18 additional hours of 3000 or 4000 level psychology courses.
