The scientific study of psychology focuses on human behavior and psychological functioning. Psychology is used to describe, explain, predict, and control behavior and mental processes. These goals are accomplished through research and practical applications of this knowledge. Our objective is to provide undergraduate minors with courses and related experiences that provide solid foundations for advanced study and careers in many fields.

Many students benefit from a minor in psychology which can augment your major in other fields, such as in business, criminal justice, and social work. Students often pursue careers in business, health, human resources, public administration, and many others, with a minor in psychology.

Psychology Minor:  Students can earn a minor is psychology by earning credit in General Psychology 2010, plus 18 additional hours of psychology (PSYC) courses.
