Gregg Lohman

Gregg Lohman moved to Nashville in 2000 after completing his Masters Degree in Music from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Bachelors Degree in Music from Eastern Illinois University.  After working as director of artist relations for johnnyraBB Drumstick Company May 2000-Sept. 2002, Gregg began playing full-time which led to hitting the road with country mainstay Aaron Tippin.  Gregg spent 3 and a half years touring with Aaron throughout the United States including an overseas tour to Kuwait and Afghanistan.  In October 2006, Gregg began drumming for American Idol finalist, Kellie Pickler.  Since joining Kellie, Gregg has performed on numerous television shows including: The Tonight Show, Ellen Degeneres, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Bonnie Hunt Show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, The View, Jimmy Kimmel, Regis & Kelly, 2009 CMT Awards, 2008 CMA Award Show, and the 2008 ACM Award Show.  While still currently playing for Kellie, Gregg has also been called to sub with other artists including:  Lady Antebellum, SheDaisy, Katrina Elam, Josh Turner, Trent Willmon, Ty Herndon, Brian McComas, Ray Scott, Houston County and Erika Jo.  Since the Fall of 2006, Gregg has been teaching at Tennessee State University as Adjunct Percussion Instructor.
