Kaleena Sales received her Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee State University, where she majored in Art, with a concentration in Graphic Design. She obtained her Master of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s top-ranked Brandcenter program where she studied Advertising Art Direction. Additionally, Professor Sales obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art & Design. Her career began with a prestigious internship at JWT in New York, NY, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. Professor Sales’ professional experience includes working as an Art Director at Doe-Anderson (ad agency) in Louisville, KY, creating print and television work for brands such as Kohler, Special Olympics of Kentucky, and Daytona Beach Tourism. Kaleena Sales has also worked as a freelance graphic designer for over 10 years, with an emphasis on branding and identity systems. Her design work has been featured in Graphis, an international, industry-leading art and design publication.
