The International Education (IE) Advisory Board is charged with the following:  

·       Identify funding opportunities for future internationalization efforts

·       Provide advice on integrating international experiences into TSU curricula and assessing the TSU curricula for internationalized course content

·       Provide advice on internationalization, including but not limited to collaborations, research or exchanges

·       Assist in the recruitment, evaluation, and post-experience activities of faculty, staff, and students with international experiences with the goal of promoting more faculty, staff and student mobility and research

·       Serve as a liaison between their organizations and Office of International Affairs

 

The IE Advisory Board provides advice at the strategic level. Strategy is “WHAT” we do and Tactics is “HOW” we do it.   We value your advice to ensure our strategies pertaining to the Advisory Board Charge are aligned with the following OIA strategy:

 

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) provides an inclusive environment for all students and engages the faculty, staff, and community partner through shared experiences, relationship building, and intercultural development.

 

OIA is in the process of confirming your participation for AY 20-21 with your Deans and creating awareness of the study abroad workshops for faculty in AY 21-22
