TSU's Student-Run News Station
TSU-TV 98 is the on-campus television station of Tennessee State University. TSU-TV 98 is developed, produced and operated by the students of Tennessee State University, primarily in the Communications Department, a part of the T.S.U. College of Arts and Sciences. TSU-TV 98 is seen in the dorms and other buildings of Tennessee State University, located on the west side of Nashville, Tennessee.
Television instructional facilities are constantly being upgraded. The newly constructed Performing Arts Center, home to the department, houses a state-of-the-art television facility. While incorporating current essential capabilities, the new structure will add technologically advanced equipment to support the television area. The department wants to make certain that students are introduced to cutting edge technology in their classroom and experiential endeavors.

TSU-TV News 98 students work in a state of the art studio with two sets and a multi-level digital control room. Students can edit digital video using Avid or Final Cut Pro video edit applications. A faculty advisor oversees content and production.
