The 2006 meeting of the Tennessee Conference of Historians, hosted by Tennessee State University, will be held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Nashville Public Library on Friday, September 29, and Saturday, September 30.

The theme of the conference, "The Future of the Past: Practicing History in a New Millennium," seeks to bring together college and university professors, teachers, librarians, museum professionals, students, and all practitioners of history across the state in a discussion of our common engagement with the past and the public in the twenty-first century.

We hope that you will be able to join us at the conference. Please follow the links to the left for more information about registration, the program, and opportunities to participate.
