Photographic Services Request

Capturing TSU History Through a Lens

Tennessee State University’s photography is managed through the University’s Media Relations Department, located in the General Services Building.  Below is information on the photographic services provided as well as usage guidelines.

REQUEST A PHOTOGRAPHER

The Media Relations Department is responsible for photographic services on the TSU campus. Please allow at least 7 business days to schedule a photographer for an event.

Please fill out Request Form further below.

REQUEST STOCK IMAGE(S)

Media Relations maintains a library of stock images that is updated on a continuous basis. Images are approved for a single project use (print, web, framed prints, presentation) to prevent overexposure in University publications and to maximize the impact of the images in your publication. We will research, retouch and provide the image(s) on a CD. Please allow 5-7 business days for your request to be processed and your image(s) to be delivered.

Please fill out Request Form further below.

COPYRIGHT/PERMISSIONS

The client has first rights to images created for assignments and Media Relations will refrain from distributing images from assignment shoots until that specific project is complete. All imagery from photography assignments are integrated into the Media Relations library of stock images. Tennessee State University maintains full copyright control of photos, including rights to any images taken during assignment shoots. Images may not be copied, reproduced or used without permission by the University Media Relations Department.

When provided with an image from Media Relations, you are given rights to the use of the image for an agreed upon purpose. No copyright permission is transferred and permission is not implied for future use.
