Department of Occupational Therapy
: The MOT program at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN currently has an opening for an Assistant/Associate Professor in a 12-month, tenure track position.
The successful candidate will teach courses within their areas of experience. Other duties include student advising, curriculum review and development, program evaluation, participating in the fieldwork process, and serving on department, college, and university committees. Preference will be given to candidates who have pediatric clinical and/or educational experience.
The position requires a minimum of a master’s degree. A doctoral degree is preferred. As this is a tenure-track appointment, the candidate must obtain a terminal degree prior to applying for academic tenure. Tennessee state university has a great compensation package which includes funding for obtaining a terminal degree.
