TTC Economic Impact Study- Phase 1

  • Purpose & Objectives of the Impact Study

         The overall purpose of this study is to determine the impacts that Tennessee’s Technology Centers have created through generating employment, earnings, a workforce that is technologically attuned to the market needs, and in general on the lives of the citizens of the State of Tennessee.

          The specific objectives of this economic impact assessment of the Tennessee Technology Centers on the local economy and the state of Tennessee as a whole include:  (1) Determination of the overall economic impacts on the lives of the citizens of Tennessee in terms of generation of employment, earnings, and creation of a workforce that can meet the market needs. (2) Determination of benefits and costs of the Tennessee Technology Centers.
