Graduate Degree Programs

The MBA curriculum is a broad-based management education that facilitate you to expand the knowledge and skills preparing for leadership positions in public and private companies. The program offered by the College of Business at Tennessee State University, the first business school in Nashville to earn dual accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the most prestigious accrediting body for business schools around the globe. The College of Business earned its initial accreditation from AACSB International in 1994. Such achievement resulted in Tennessee State University becoming not only the first university in Nashville, but also the first public Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the country, to gain dual accreditation at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

MBA Accelerated Logo

The Accelerated Online MBA Option is a progressive Master of Business Administration Program directed to adult learners. This innovative accelerated learning Online option offers the MBA degree in a shorter time-frame while achieving the same number of class hours and learning outcomes as the College's traditional MBA program. The accelerated Online option consists of 36 credit hours that are completed fully online in 12 short months leading to the General MBA.

MBA Executive Logo

The TSU Executive MBA is designed to better accommodate the needs of busy professionals. The 12-month program offers a convenient, business-friendly schedule with classes meeting on weekends and is delivered in a hybrid format consisting of a mix of in-person and online course offerings. Program participants also have the opportunity to spend 10 days studying outside the United States to broaden their understanding of global leadership.
