Professor Teresa Kent Todd's interests include French, Spanish and Linguistics. Her doctoral work concentrates on the regional variety of French used in the Northern suburbs of Paris, an area known for its high concentration of immigrants.
Teresa has always been fascinated by languages and cultures and subsequently took part in several study abroad programs in her academic career. She spent a summer in Alacala, Spain, two summer semesters in Tours, France, and a semester in Quebec, Canada. She worked extensively with the international students at Michigan State during her graduate studies and is very happy to bring those experiences to TSU where she is now serving as ISEP coordinator.
ISEP is a study exchange program, which allows TSU students to study abroad for in-state tuition. Check out the website at: http://isep.org/students/ For more information about the benefits of studying abroad, or for scholarship and program information, please email tkent@tnstate.edu with ISEP in the subject heading.
