The Catalog Department
of the University's mission of teaching, learning and research, the Cataloging
Department of the Brown-Daniel Library is responsible for the organization and
bibliographic control of all library resources acquired for its collections.
All cataloged resources including print, electronic, government documents, and
media appear in the library's online catalog.
Cataloging Department classifies, processes ownership and assigns authority
control for all purchases, donations and the free resources acquired by the
library. It takes its job seriously, knowing that its work directly enhances
the learning environment of the library patrons.
