Administration

Administration and direction of programs in the College of Education are under the overall guidance of the Dean's Cabinet.  The Dean's Cabinet is comprised of the following: Dean of the College, Associate Dean of the College, Assistant Dean of Public Service and Outreach, and the Assistant Dean of Teacher Education and Student Services.

The Dean                                

The Dean provides overall leadership for implementation of TSU's mission of teaching, research, and public service within the College of Education. Major responsibilities include: 

  • Provides direction and ledadership in moving the College toward attainment of goals 

  • Oversees professional standards of conduct Maintains records of the College's affairs

  • Oversees faculty workloads, scheduling and all academic matters

  • Provides leadreship in the development and revision of curricula

  • Assigns committee membership so as to involve faculty and students in the governance of the College

  • Provides leaedrship in accreditation processes

  • Oversees faculty and staff recruitment and appointment
