| | | | | WHAT IS FLEXIBLE DELIVERY? |
| | |
| Some students who participate in |
| | diagnostic testing are eligible to advance to the next level with supplemental | | instruction. This advancement option is called flexible delivery and is available | | in the areas of Reading and Writing. Students who meet the criteria for | | flexible delivery must attend approximately 2.5 hours of supplemental | | instruction each week in addition to the regular class meeting times. Students | | who do not successfully complete the college-level class must re-enroll and | | complete the course from which they diagnostically advanced during the next semester. |
| WHAT SCORES ARE REQUIRED FOR FLEXIBLE DELIVERY? |
| | | | COURSE | D.A. TEST | REQUIREDSCORE | OTHER CRITERIA | | DSPW 0800 | Writing sample | 3 | ACT - 17 or 18* OR | | | Course Review Test | ≥ 70% | SAT - 430 to 450* | | DSPR 0800 | Nelson Denny | ≥ 11.8 G.E | ACT - 17 or 18* OR | | | | | SAT - 430 to 450* |
| | * Students must have the specified ACT or SAT scores in BOTH Reading and Writing to advance. | | | | A student who diagnostically advances into a course and does not | | pass that course MUST re-enroll in the course from which he/she | | advanced. A student who attains the required score on the diagnostic | | test but does not have the specified ACT or SAT scores in BOTH | | Reading and Writing does NOT qualify for flexible delivery. Also | | note that enrollment in the next-level course is contingent upon | | available space. | |
