Fee Payment Deadlines & Other Important Dates

Fee payment deadline for PRE-REGISTERED students. Bills will not be mailed.  Access myTSU for your balance.
(Class schedules will be purged if fees are not paid.  Students purged may re-register during the regular registration period.)

Regular RegistrationAugust 26-28, 2009
Fee payment deadline for classes entered during Regular Registration.

Fees due on the day classes are entered on "myTSU".  BILLS WILL NOT BE MAILED.  Students who register after 4:30 p.m. must pay fees the following business day.

 

On Friday, August 28, the registration schedule for myTSU is 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.  All fees must be paid in full (or students must confirm registration if their fees will be covered by authorized deferments and/or financial aid) by 4:30 p.m.
Early Registration for TBR, UT, State and TSU employees.August 26-28, 2009
Regular Registration for TBR, UT, State and TSU employees. No Late Registration fee is assessed for these groups attending on a space-available basis.August 29, 2009 (University Administration Offices will be closed.  Access myTSU to register and may fees.)
First day of classes.August 29, 2009
Late Registration.  A $100.00 fee is assessed.

August 29-30, 2009/ (Administrative Offices will be closed.  Access myTSU to register/pay/confirm)

August 31-  September 4, 2009

Last day to withdraw from all classes or drop classes and obtain a 100% refund of liable credit hours.

Note:

Refunds are calculated based on liable credit hours.  Therefore, in some instances, a refund may not be applicable.

Students are encouraged to better plan their schedules and retain their full-time status on their way to a timely and successful graduation.

 

If you are dropping and adding another class on or after the first day of classes (August 29, 2009), please note that the add and the drop must be processed ON THE SAME DAY.  If you are enrolled in one class and want to drop and add another, you must add first.

 

RODP courses cannot be evenly exchanged with TSU courses when students drop/add on or after the first day of classes (August 29, 2009). RODP classes can be identified by section number R50.

RODP courses are charged separately from TSU courses.

August 30, 2009
Last day to withdraw from all classes or drop classes and obtain a 75% refund of registration fees.September 11, 2009
Last day to withdraw from all classes or drop classes and obtain a 25% refund of registration fees.September 25, 2009 (No refunds will be made after this date)
Last day to submit discount forms for spouses/dependents of TBR/UT employees and dependents of TN public school teachersSeptember 11, 2009

Financial Aid refunds disbursed.

 Refunds will be available on student ID cards for students who have registered, completed all paperwork in the Financial Aid Office, confirmed that they will be attending for the term on myTSU, and have actual aid credited to their accounts.  Refunds will appear on the ID card within a 24 to 48 hour period from the date of the comdata refund transaction that appears on your student account for the fall term.
