Welcome to the web site for the College of Health Sciences at Tennessee State University.  The College is the academic home to programs in Speech Pathology and Audiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Technology, Health Care Administration and Planning, Health Sciences, Health Information Management, Dental Hygiene, and Cardio Respiratory Care Sciences.  

Students in our College are challenged with contemporary curricula, qualified full-time faculty, and excellent clinical placements. As part of its degree programs, the College sponsors two clinics, which are open to the public – one in Dental Hygiene, and another in Speech Pathology and Audiology. 

Tennessee State University is located in Nashville, Tennessee’s capitol, which is the hub of the nation’s health care industry and which offers excellent opportunities for clinical practice, administration, and employment. 

Our programs are accredited and our students enjoy a high pass rate on their licensing examinations. The faculty and staff of the college enjoy working with students and are eager to share their knowledge and experiences with you.  Graduates are successful in jobs of their choice upon graduation.
