Pension
funds, foundations, endowments, family trusts, high net worth
individuals and other large investors have invested in timberland since
the mid 1980s. To date, approximately $12 billion has been invested, and
growth in the industry continues to be rapid. This presentation will
explore why timberland is attractive to large investors, how timberland
portfolios are acquired and managed, returns to date and the outlook for
future investment and returns.
