Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS)
The TN Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) is a defined benefit plan that is non-contributory on the part of the employee, and requires a five (5) year vesting period to be eligible to receive a retirement benefit. Semi-monthly paid employees must complete the membership form; monthly-paid employees have the option of participating in the TN Consolidated Retirement System or the Optional Retirement Program (which is comprised of ING, VALIC and TIAA-CREF).
To complete the TCRS Membership Form, please print legibly in BLACK ink. Please check the New Member box (if you have never been a member of the State’s Retirement System; or, if you are transferring from another TCRS or state agency, check the corresponding box).
*Please note, in the Beneficiary Designation section, you must list only ONE beneficiary. Begin by writing in the beneficiary’s last name, first name, his/her relationship to you, gender, date of birth and SSN.
