Summer 2015 Housing

Welcome Summer School Students!

Summer School Housing:

Summer School Housing is for students who will be taking classes over the summer. In order to be eligible for Summer School Housing, you must be enrolled in classes for the session in which you are residing on campus. Financial Aid, if available, will pay for Summer School Housing but not conventional housing (see below).

  • Housing Application for Summer 2015: Full Session, Summer Session I &II
  • Please submit the application by May 26, 2015.  The $100 non-refundable Summer Housing Deposit is due at the Bursars Office by May 26, 2015 as well.  Please  confirm your summer registration with room charges by May 29, 2015.
    • Full Summer, Summer I & Summer II:
      • Ford Apartments ($872.00 for one session or $1,745.00 for Full Summer)
      • Boyd Hall ($535.00 for one session or $1,071.00 for Full Summer)

* You must apply, pay your $100 non-refundable deposit for summer (separate from the Fall 2015 Housing Deposit) and register for classes in order to be eligible for Summer School Housing.

Summer Conventional Housing:

Conventional Housing is for students who will remain in Nashville over the summer, but will not be taking classes. Conventional housing is a tiered system, with rates listed below. You must pay in advance, out of pocket, and in full for the month, similar to how you would pay a landlord if you lived off campus. Scholarships or Financial Aid will not cover conventional housing.

* In order to receive the TSU-Employed Students Rate, a letter of verification is required from the Professor or TSU Staff Member who oversees your employment.

Meal Plan Rates for Summer School 2015 (Maymester, Summer Session I and II) are as follows:

  • 160 Block with $150 Declining Balance- $1057.00
  • 90 Block with $150 Declining Balance- $554.00
  • 50 Block with $150 Declining Balance - $377.00
