The University Honors Program - Excellence is a way of life!
The University Honors Program strives to make excellence a way of life! There are a ton of opportunities for students enrolled in our program. Throughout the year, our students are encouraged to participate in conferences, research presentations, internships, mentoring, and many other academic and social opportunities. You can catch a glimpse of just some of the opportunities available on our MEMBER page.
To qualify, incoming freshmen must have a high school GPA of 3.4 with an ACT score of 25 or a SAT score of 1130 (sum of critical reading and math). Transfer students, sophomores, or second-semester freshmen must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4; no test score is required.
The University Honors Program encourages all those who qualify to participate in this worthwhile experience. Our Honors staff is readily available to guide you through your academic Honors experience, as well as assist you in with issues and struggles that might arise. Our close-knit environment allows you room to practice your leadership skills, enhance your communication skills, and be actively involved in your college community.
