Important Dates for Fall 2017

 

Students participating in Fall 2017 Commencement must have completed all requirements for the degree with no outstanding courses/credits to be completed beyond the Fall 2017 academic semester.

  • Contact your advisor concerning your degree program process.
  • Contact your department about early final examinations.
  • September 24-29—Mid-Term Exams
  • October 12—Thesis/Dissertation Workshop
  • October 17—Avoiding Plagiarism Workshop
  • October 19—ETD Submission Workshop
  • October 23—Graduation Finale, 10 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Elliott Hall
  • October 24—Graduation Finale, 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Elliott Hall
  • October 25—Last Day to Defend Thesis/Dissertation
  • October 27—Last Day to Administer Master Degree Comp Exams
  • November 8—Last Day for Electronic Submission of Thesis/Dissertation
  • November 20-25—Fall Break
  • December 2—Last Day of Class
  • December 4-6—Early Final Exams for Graduates
  • December 7—Instructors need to submit Final Grades to Records
  • December 9—Fall Commencement Ceremony, 9:00 a.m., Gentry Center Complex
  • Distribution of Name Cards—TBA
  • Regalia Pick-up--TBA
