What is Big Blue SMART Dual Enrollment?

TSU Big Blue SMART Dual Enrollment allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to earn college credits in pursuit of one of the DE Six pathways, which includes Agriculture, Applied Industrial Technologies/Aviation, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Education, Health, Music and Public Service.  Additionally, Dual Enrollment courses are online and onground, and Big Blue SMART DE Early Post-Secondary Opportunities (EPSOs) are available and transferrable.

Eligibility

  • High School Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors  
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50
  • Application fee waived
  • ACT/SAT scores waived (due to Covid-19)
  • Official high school transcript
  • Parental Consent Form
  • Health Immunization Form

Scholarships

All Tennessee students are eligible to apply for the TSAC Dual Enrollment Grant.  In addition, all eligible Tennessee students, Out-of-State students and International students are eligible to apply for TSU High School Private/Donor Scholarships (provided funds are available)
