= COURSE OBJECTIVES

= Course objective is to teach effectively the following items.

Operating System Concepts and Structure, System calls, Processes, Threads, Deadlocks, Memory Management, Input/Output Management and File Systems, and Multiple Processor Systems

 

= COURSE PREREQUISITE

Students taking this course must have successfully completed COMP2400 (CS 240) with a grade of ‘C’ or better. Those who do not meet the required prerequisite must withdraw. No grade wil= l be given to those who do not withdraw.
