Wireless Access

TSU's wireless network is available in many locations across the campus. To access TSU Secure, use your domain username and password.

Remember that the wireless network is a convenience. If you have a computer wired to the network at your desk, your wired connection will provide you with more reliability than a wireless connection to the campus network.

Effective June 4, 2013, the tsuwireless network will be configured to only allow general browsing on the Internet (Google search, news sites, etc.).  After June 4, 2013 network access that requires you to sign in such as email, MyTSU, Banner, Facebook, etc. will have to be accessed using tsu_secure and not tsuwireless.

To configure your notebook computer (laptop) or mobile device for access to tsu_secure follow these steps: Go to http://wireless.tnstate.edu while on campus, check the box to accept the license agreement and then click the "Start" button. Once you have completed the short configure process, you will be prompted for a username and password. This is your network (campus computer) username and password. If you have questions or would like further assistance contact the Information Technology Help Desk at 963-7777.
