Report for work regularly and on time.
Inform your supervisor in advance if you will be absent or late
Make up time that you missed because of emergencies.
Wait for your supervisor a reasonable length of time if he or she is not in when you report for work or continue with previously assigned duties.
Wear clothing that is appropriate for your office and your work.
Develop a positive attitude toward your work
Approach each task with an open mind and determination.
Accept the fact that you will be asked to perform a variety of duties.
Organize your work; keep your work station neat and clean.
Listen carefully to instructions; take down special instructions in writing.
Perform routine assignments without being reminded.
Report to your supervisor when you complete a job or series of jobs.
Inform your supervisor of the status of incomplete jobs before leaving the office.
Return to interrupted work as soon as possible
Perform assignments as rapidly and as efficiently as possible.
Accept criticism with dignity; don’t be on the defensive.
Exercise courtesy and tact in all matters pertaining to your work.
