The College of Business is the first business school in Nashville to earn dual accreditation from the most prestigious accrediting body for business schools in the world, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - AACSB International. 

 

Assessment and Assurance of Learning

Central to the achievement of our mission and vision is the College’s comprehensive assessment and assurance of learning for our degree programs. Our system of assessment and continuous improvement has become a part of the culture of the College in accordance with the AACSB International standards and reflects the critical importance we place on the enhancement of student learning outcomes. Goals and objectives for our degree programs are presented below.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree Program

  Goals Objectives
Goal 1 Critical Thinking Students will demonstrate essential elements of critical thinking.
Goal 2 Ethical Perspectives Students will demonstrate the knowledge to incorporate ethical perspectives in situations that may arise in conducting business.
Goal 3 Global Economy Students will demonstrate an understanding of fundamental attributes of the global economy.
Goal 4 Communications Students will communicate business information orally and in writing.
Goal 5 Technology Students will effectively apply technology in solving business problems.

 

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree Program
