Nina Lovelace has degrees from Fisk University(1973) and Illinois State University (1976) and has studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine . Her works have appeared in publications including "The Western Journal of Black Studies", "Black Artists/ South", "Women on the Inner Journey" and "Visions of My People". Also, Ms. Lovelace has devoted many years to the development of courses which engage students in African centered approaches to studies in art history.
