For nearly 100 Years, Tennessee State University has stood as a tangible measure of hope, educating bright minds, impacting the world - one student at a time.  Because we dwell in the “...the land of Golden Sunshine, by the Cumberland’s Fertile Shore,”  the fertility of TSU has given birth to new ideas, new research opportunities and the fulfillment of dreams. What we do today births new opportunities for our students tomorrow.

Award winning faculty, along with caring and productive staff are the reason students earn their education at TSU.  What we do today, impacts their future tomorrow. 

In 2012 we will celebrate our centennial with the excitement and enthusiasm deserving of our hard labor. Faculty and staff have supplied valuable time, knowledge and resources to make Tennessee State University the educational powerhouse it is today.

In honor of your commitment and our anniversary, we are asking that every TSU family member make a monthly gift of $20.12, or more, toward our goal of $40,000. Your monthly gift can be designated to the college/school, curriculum or program of your choice. Many of you give at the President's Society level ($1,000+) and we encourage you to continue to do so. Yes, we know that these are difficult times, but we also know the TSU family is rich and storied in the tradition of commitment, sacrifice and success.
