Teaching and learning, research, and public service are the lifeblood of any university, and these activities encompassed by the academic units at Tennessee State University constitute the real strength of this institution. Academic Affairs at TSU includes: six colleges and three schools (including a school of graduate studies); centers for testing, extended education, and academic enrichment; the library; aerospace studies; institutional effectiveness, and office of records; the university honors program; cooperative extension; and a cooperative agricultural research program.
